program. Our merchandise is shipped in 40’HC containers. We only ship
within the United States. Savings may range from 20-40%. Please contact our

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR CONTAINER PURCHASES
Order Placement:
- All orders must be placed via fax. Once the order is received, a pro-forma
invoice will be created for the buyer to sign & fax back for confirmation.
Please note that the pro-forma invoice includes estimated quantities and costs.
The final invoice will be provided to the buyer at the time of container ship
out.
Deposits:
- When the pro-forma invoice is signed by the buyer, a 10% deposit will be
collected. If the buyer does not place the deposit, the request will be placed
on hold.
Cancellation:
- Orders may be cancelled, in writing, within 24 hours from the day the pro-forma
invoice is signed.
- Orders cancelled after 24 hours from the day the pro-forma invoice is being
signed are subject to a charge of 10% of the order amount.
- Any order cancelled after the shipment is on board will be subject to a
charge of 10% of the order amount plus the estimated freight charges that
are stated on the final invoice.
Delivering Schedule:
- A container will take a minimum of 60 days from the order date for the shipment
to be received. It takes a minimum of 30-40 days before it is on board and
will take an additional 20-25 days to get to the buyer’s final destination.
The buyer will be contacted once the estimated arrival date is provided by
the vendor to schedule for delivery. Please note that payment must be ready
at the time of delivery.
Payments:
- William’s Imports accepts cash, cashier check, Visa, & MasterCard.
Company check will only be accepted upon verification. If a non sufficient
check (NSF) issue occurs, a $20.00 fee will be charged to the buyer. After
two reoccurrences of NSF checks, the buyer will automatically be placed on
pre-paid or C.O.D terms until further notice. No Discover card, American Express
card or personal checks will be accepted.
Trucking Penalty Fees:
- The buyer needs to be aware of the “demurrage fee”. This is
a fee ($250 per day) that the buyer will be charged if the container is not
picked up within 5 days from the container arrival date at customs. In addition,
once the items in the container are unloaded, the container must be returned
within 5 days from the custom pick up date to avoid a penalty fee of $150
per day.
Prices:
- All prices are subject to be changed without notification.
Returns/Exchanges:
- Exchange will be honored for manufacture defective items. The exchange must
be reported to William’s Imports within 120 days from the delivery date.
Please note that William’s Imports elect to authorize part replacements
in lieu of return.
